With the additional $1 billion in budget cuts that Governor Schwarzenegger added to the California state budget through line-item vetoes before signing it, he has not only decimated the state's social services programs, but brought himself a 28% approval rating.

Here are a couple of actions you can take NOW to stop these additional cuts.

Tell California state legislators to override Schwarzenegger's additional budget cuts.

Save Domestic Violence shelter funding (eliminated by Schwarzenegger)!

You can also look up your state Senator and Assemblymember and call, email, or fax them directly asking that they override these destructive cuts.

Send Schwarzenegger an "Unhappy Birthday" message about his last-minute slicing of funds for needy families.
